42 years of training in different disciplines from pro dancing to martial arts to competitive bodybuilding to competitive cycling to inline marathon skating (over 50 UK champ) to more cycling and now virtual cycling. (Wish I had the VirtuGO technology when I was a spin-cycle instructor).
I have no intention to slow down or stop at this stage, 60 in August.
On the way I’ve picked up level-4 status personal training instructor and sports psychologist.
People have called me crazy, and other things ‘you should be slowing down’ I hear, not a chance I say.
To get back to your question @Damian_VGO - there aren’t many ‘strange strategies’ I haven’t tried.
Talking about the Hypoventilation thing @Damian_VGO, sprints are mostly anaerobic so I’m unsure what emptying the lungs before the activity would do. May put your body into a more aerodynamic shape, but I doubt even that.
Did I mention I tend to go on a bit … LOL
