I did a workout tonight and I’ll be honest there is alot of work to do here i my opinion.
I’ll start with the bit I like the green arrow moing in and out of the central position for Watts and cadence was a good indicaot but may I suggest this should only apply to a requested cadence…The Watts should surely be locked in to the workout in ERG. Peopl pay alot of money for Smart Trainers with 1 to 2 % variation in accuracy and I beleive they want that in the workout with an option to reduce or increase in ride % wise if you are feeling strong or weak.
I did a Tempo style workout that ran approx 60% effort into a 75% shoter Endurance period, There was no increase in the Wattage unless I physivally changed up but as it was asking for me to increase my cadence, which I did by 10% the Power remained the same.
Other points were the horizon line, it appears to be off by 2 or 3 degrees 0% looks uphill and -3% looks flat on the graphics.
The speed showed crazy fluctuations from 70kph to 16 kph within a hundred yards or so.
I felt there could have been a few more in ride prompts to pass the time or at least some data to see how your heart rate / power levels had been to date rather than just at the end.
So sorry to dissapoint but Although I will continue to ride the courses and see how that feels I do not think I will be doing any more workouts until ERG at least has been resolved. I am sure you will be able to access my file and you will see the data it produced especially when it was meant to step up in effort.
