Hello the Gruppetto,
I had not introduced myself yet, so now is the time after a few weeks of using VirtuGO.
My name is Muriel, using “Velizienne” as nickname in the forums, facebook and any social networks.
I’m a quiet cyclist (not powerful) : I do commute and road bike. I gave up MTB a few years ago due to back pain.
I like long distances.
In may 2016, I organized a ride from Vélizy-Villacoublay (where I live) to Dietzenbach (Germany), with my bike club : then we did 670 km in 3,5 days, for celebrate the 40 years of twinning of the 2 cities.
In september 2016, I challenged friends to make a return trip Velizy-Caen during a week-end (520km). It was great
I’ve been doing a lot of virtual activies since November 2017, because my back pain returned in June 2017. I will be better in 2019, so I wait while pedaling on my trainer, and this is a good way to discover indoor cycling.
I’m also a contributor for the French magazine of women on bike (ellesfonduvelo.com), and I like to share news and feelings about everything on cycling.
I’m happy to test and use VirtuGO, and I hope to be helpful for debugging the beta versions. I use also regularly Zwift, which was the first simulator I used with my dumb trainer. Once I bought a smart trainer, I used Bkool and kinomap a few moments, but I don’t use them anymore. I have also tested RGT.
Then go go VirtuGO
Because if it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen :
