I have recently got back to road cycling after cycling neck and back injury.
I have done and copy your cycling Block sessions and that has helped a lot. I’m glad you kept me on for another year.
I am no spring chicken 59-year-old, but I am now stronger and fitter then I ever have been.
The last couple of years I start weighttraining that I would recommend to anyone especially our age. My rehabilitation working in the gym and participating in Group sessions, Spinning,Pump,Core,Piyo & Yoga. Was spinning twice a week using myzone belt see you can actually push yourself a lot more (Red Zone). Pump sessions were done twice a week, followed by Piyo and Yoga that helps my spine and Mobility.
This year I start shred my weight down for doing a lot more cardio. Are we doing three hours sessions every other day, yes it do sounded ridiculous but that helps to get the right nutrition and fluid in track.
In April I started to go on the road with my local cycling club. First week 64,20 & 65 miles including two turbo sessions(VirtuGo), Second week 65 & 116 miles two turbo sessions and now on the third week 45 miles +2 turbo sessions. Everything is now coming together ,I’m a lot stronger when you hit the hills . This road work will take some time now but I’ve got the basics.
